Done for you social media means someone else produces and publishes your posts, and your part shrinks to reading and approving. In Canada the phrase covers everything from a freelancer with a Canva account to a full agency. This post says what a real service has to include, what should stay yours, and how to compare offers on one call.
The five parts a service must cover
- Voice. One conversation that settles how you sound, the words you use, the claims you never make. Without it every post reads like every other business in your city.
- Drafting. A month of posts per platform, written from your website, your services and your customers' questions, in that voice.
- Design. Photo posts with real people and your headline on the image, carousels in your colours, captions on video. Templates are fine; stock clip art is not your brand.
- Scheduling. Posts spread over the month at the hours your audience is on, in your time zone.
- Publishing. Approved posts sent from your own accounts through the platforms' official tools, on schedule, without you at the keyboard.
What stays yours
- The accounts. The posts should go out from your Instagram, your LinkedIn page, your X account. If a service publishes from something it controls, your audience is theirs.
- The approval. Read the month before it posts. At Ampliqa that is one sitting: approve, edit a line, skip a post.
- Replies to customers and Reddit. Drafts can be written for you; the sending should be yours, with your name on it.
Questions for the first call
- Which platforms, and how many finished posts on each, per month?
- Can I see a sample month made for my business before I pay?
- Where do the photos and videos come from, and will people in them look like my customers?
- How do I approve, and can I edit a post myself?
- What is the notice period, and do I keep everything if I stop?
What it costs
Ampliqa runs Starter at $500 a month (Instagram, Threads and X: 10 videos and reels, 10 photo posts, 10 carousels, 90 short posts) and Growth at $700 a month (every platform, more of each, 12 LinkedIn posts, replies drafted in your niche). Both are monthly with no contract. The comparison with tools, freelancers and agencies is in social media management pricing in Canada.
How it starts
Send your website. Ampliqa reads it, finds your logo, your blog and your social accounts, writes the voice, and shows you the first drafts on a twenty minute walkthrough. See how it works.
