LinkedIn is where most founders and professionals build their personal brand, because the people who hire, buy and invest are already there reading. Building one comes down to four things: a profile that states your subject, a small set of post formats you repeat, a steady rhythm, and real conversations in the comments.

Fix the profile first
- Photo. A clear, recent face, good light, nothing else in the frame.
- Banner. One line saying what you help with, in your brand colours.
- Headline. Who you help and how. "Helping clinics fill their weekends" beats a job title.
- About. Three short paragraphs: the problem you solve, your point of view, how to reach you.
- Featured. Your best post, your website, one piece of proof.
Choose one subject
Pick the narrow subject you want to own and post about it most of the time. A reader should be able to finish the sentence "She's the one who writes about..." after three posts.
Five formats that work for founders
- The lesson. One thing you learned, the story of how, and what to do with it.
- The opinion. A belief about your industry, stated plainly, with your reasoning.
- The how to. A short list of steps or a document carousel that saves the reader an hour.
- The behind the scenes. A decision you made this week and why.
- The customer story. Their problem, what changed, told with permission and without hype.
How often to post
Two to four posts a week is a sustainable rhythm for most founders. Consistency matters more than volume: three posts every week for a year beats a daily streak that stops in March.
The comments are half the work
Reply to every thoughtful comment on your own posts in the first hour. Leave useful comments on posts by people your buyers follow. A good comment is a small post with someone else's audience.
What to measure monthly
- Profile views and new followers who fit your buyer
- Comments from people you would want to work with
- Messages and calls that mention a post
- Which formats earned saves and reposts
Keeping it going
Most LinkedIn brands die in the third month, when the backlog of ideas runs out. Ampliqa drafts your LinkedIn posts in your voice every month and posts them from your own profile once you approve. See LinkedIn for your page and you and LinkedIn for founders: a monthly system.
