Threads and X reward showing up daily and punish long silences. A founder has neither the time to post daily nor the patience to be silent. The way out is a pattern: four post types, made a month at a time, approved once, posted on schedule.
The four post types
- A question. One honest question to the people you serve. "When did you last get your stride looked at?" Questions get replies, and replies are the whole point of these platforms.
- An observation. One thing you noticed this week in your work, said plainly. No lesson attached.
- A lesson. One thing you changed and what happened. Numbers if you are willing to share them.
- A line from your content. One sentence from your latest article or video, with the link in a reply rather than the post.
A daily rhythm
Morning: a question or an observation.
Midday: a lesson or a line from your content.
Evening, on the days you have one: a reply to someone else's post in your niche.
Three posts a day across both platforms is ninety a month. That is the Starter volume at Ampliqa, and it is enough to be present without being noisy.
Threads and X are different
- Threads reads like a conversation among people who follow each other; questions and observations do best
- X reads faster and rewards a sharper first line; lessons and one liners do best
- The same idea should be written twice, once for each. Cross posting the same text reads as automation
- Both truncate long posts differently, so the version for each should be sized for it
Making a month in one sitting
Write the four types in batches: thirty questions, thirty observations, twenty lessons, ten lines from content. Spread them across the month at the times your audience is on. Then read the whole month once and cut anything you would not say out loud. At Ampliqa the drafting and the spreading are done for you and the reading is your one sitting. See Threads and X, run for you.
