AI written posts sound like a machine when nobody told the machine who it was writing as. A brand voice is six settings, written down once: the register, the audience, the words you use, the words you never use, a handful of posts you are proud of, and whether the account speaks as "I" or "we". Set those, and drafts come back in your voice more often than not. Skip them, and every draft needs rewriting.
These are the six settings Ampliqa sets on the onboarding call, and the questions that get to them.
The six settings
- Register. How you talk to a customer standing in front of you. Warm and plain? Precise and clinical? Dry and funny? One sentence.
- Audience. One kind of customer, described as a person. "A runner over forty with a sore knee who has been putting off the appointment."
- Your words. Ten words or phrases you actually say. The name you call your customers. The name you call your service.
- Banned words. Ten words you would never say. Most businesses ban the same ones: elevate, unlock, journey, game changer.
- Sample posts. Five posts you are proud of, yours or ones you wish were yours. The drafts learn the rhythm from these.
- First person. Does the account say "I" or "we"? A founder profile says I. A clinic page says we. Never both on one account.
The questions that get to them
What did you say to the last customer who was nervous?
What do competitors say that makes you wince?
Which of your past posts got a reply from someone you respect?
If a customer described you to a friend in one sentence, what would they say?
What to do with a draft that is off
- Edit the line, do not rewrite the post. The edit teaches more than a rewrite
- Add the word that was wrong to the banned list
- Add the post you wish it had been to the samples
- Give it a month. Voice settles over a few batches, and the second month reads closer than the first
Ampliqa sets these six on one call, reads your website and past posts first, and every draft still waits for your approval. See how it works.
